Health Yeppoon is a General Practitioner (GP) practice, serving Yeppoon and the Capricorn coast.
Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Skin Cancer Medicine
If you notice any new skin spots, or changes in an existing spot, see your GP as soon as possible. Early detection is crucial, and most skin cancers can be successfully treated if found early.
Immunisations
We offer all government funded vaccines, and some private vaccines. This includes childhood immunisations, and those required for pregnant women. We also offer influenza vaccines each year.
Mental Health
Mental health is a growing area of need in our community. Our doctors have done the required training to complete a mental health care plan for you, and arrange appropriate management.
Chronic Disease
If you have a chronic disease (such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma etc), it is important to have regular reviews to help you stay well. It may be beneficial for you to have a Chronic Disease Management Plan done with you doctor, or be referred to allied health team members.
Women's Health
We understand that women have a broad range of specific issues that may need to be addressed. This includes contraception, sexual and reproductive health (including medical termination), pregnancy care, and menopause.
Men's Health
Men are statistically more likely to have serious health problems than women. We offer all aspect of men’s healthcare needs, including sexual health, lifestyle changes, prostate health.
Lifestyle
Health and wellness is not just about medication. We offer advice and guidance on all aspects of your health, including diet, exercise, healthy weight, and quitting smoking.
Childhood Health
Your child’s health needs are important to us, and we see children of all ages. This includes administration of vaccines, health checks, and management of common childhood illnesses.
